With more and more focus on the bathroom as a primary concern for guest satisfaction, products that capture guest attention and create a powerful first impression are becoming the standard in luxury hotel bathroom design.

The technology trend in luxury bathroom design has moved beyond using just a lighted mirror or a mirror TV separately. Now mirrors can have the best of the two technologies in a combined lighted mirror TV. The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE is a recent example of a luxury hotel that invested in a lighted mirror TV as a way to provide functional lighting, great design and TV technology all in one product.

"As the leader in this industry, I am glad to see our years of investment in hotel product design and technology have resulted in the granting of this important industry patent. This achievement ensures our ability to protect and defend our inventions," said Jim Mischel, President and Chief Designer at Electric Mirror.

The lighted mirror TV patent represents the 30th patent received by Electric Mirror since the company first started in the hotel industry more than a decade ago.
